No terminal or software does not seem to resist participating contest Pwn2Own hack Mobile
The famous contest Pwn2Own hack leaves once again many victims behind him. From
the first day , it is iOS 6 and 7 who fell through a hole in Safari,
then it was the turn of the Samsung Galaxy S4 be compromised via Samsung
Apps.
The second day vulnerabilities in Chrome have also been exploited to kneel Nexus 4 and Samsung Galaxy S4 .
For these exploits Chrome team hackers pocketed 50,000 dollars, the greatest reward won in the competition. This is a Chinese team that hacked iOS 5 on an iPhone . This is the first Chinese team to win a competition Pwn2Own .
To activate the hack , the user would just click on a link ( in an e -mail , SMS or a web page) . Hackers
could then install malware execute code remotely and steal data
terminals - such as photos , IDs, Facebook, and other sensitive data .
All
exploits and vulnerabilities have been reported to the publishers
involved, but they have not been made public , as required by the
contest rules.
Out of competition , as a demonstration , a novel flaw in IE 11 could also allow a hacker Surface Pro running Windows 8.1.
In short, this competition shows , once more , that some devices or software resist talented hackers . NSA will know where to find them.
