After announcing that its users can now send and receive private messages without the need to follow one another, the social network is working on another novelty . According to AllThingsD , Twitter is preparing to compete with WhatsApp , Kakao Talk Line and by creating its own app instant messaging applications. In its pre- IPO document also mentions Twitter Kakao as its main conccurent South Korea .
